One day a six-year-old watched her grandmother do an illustration for a children's book. Suddenly, she got a great idea! "Grandma, I want to write a book, too!" she said. And so she did.

The resulting book, Gimme Wimme, the story of a greedy little boy, was made into a storybook that the little girl read to her first grade class and then donated to her school library. Everyone loved it, especially her teacher, sparking the idea for Gnome Hollow©, a place where all children can go to magically create, and publish, their very own books.
